We have basically 3 oncall schedules that will be used in the escalation policy. What we are looking for is the ability to “repeat” each level x times before moving to the next level.
As an example:
INC created
page tier1
Wait 2 minutes
page tier 1
Wait 2 minutes
page tier 1
Wait 2 minutes
page tier 2
Wait 2 minutes
page tier 2
Wait 2 minutes
page management
Wait 2 minutes
page management
wait 2 minutes
page everyone
The idea here is we want to make sure everyone gets paged multiple times before going to the next level. We can setup the notification methods on each account for immediate page, wait 2, page, etc, but that would require each user to setup their notification profile.
What we have currently done is repeat the specific oncall schedule as multiple escalation levels.
Looking for a better way to do this.
